KCG President, Mike Klett, and KCG employee, Todd Morgan, wrapped up an exciting first day at the Surface Navy Association's National Symposium!

A major highlight for Mike was hearing ADM Franchetti discuss Project 33, an ambitious initiative aimed at accelerating the Navy's readiness for a potential conflict with China by 2027. This critical project focuses on integrating robotic and autonomous systems across the fleet, with key aspects including scaling unmanned capabilities, enhancing information dominance through maritime operations centers, and improving maintenance, recruitment, training, and infrastructure.

The symposium also featured some impressive exhibits from industry leaders like Arete Maritime Systems, GE Aerospace, and Kongsberg.

This annual event brings together government, military, industry, and academic experts in logistics and transportation. They had the opportunity to discuss current issues, share knowledge, and network with others in the field.
