KCG President, Mike Klett, and KCG employee, Todd Morgan, wrapped up an exciting first day at the Surface Navy Association's National Symposium!
A major highlight for Mike was hearing ADM Franchetti discuss Project 33, an ambitious initiative aimed at accelerating the Navy's readiness for a potential conflict with China by 2027. This critical project focuses on integrating robotic and autonomous systems across the fleet, with key aspects including scaling unmanned capabilities, enhancing information dominance through maritime operations centers, and improving maintenance, recruitment, training, and infrastructure.
The symposium also featured some impressive exhibits from industry leaders like Arete Maritime Systems, GE Aerospace, and Kongsberg.
KCG is thrilled to announce that our SBIR Phase II award has been officially granted, with a contract start date set for September 6th, 2024. This achievement is a testament to our dedication, innovative mindset, and the outstanding customer support provided over the years. A big thank you to all who contributed to making this milestone possible!
